Overview
The FW-8893C is a high performance 1U rackmount network security appliance utilizing the cutting edge capabilities of the Intel Highland Forest platform (Based on Intel Xeon E5-2600 v2 CPU and 8950 Communication Chipset). The Intel communication chipset DH8950 provides hardware-based acceleration technology (Intel QuickAssist) in offloading crypto/decrypto and compression up to 50 Gbps. The maximum port density can be up to 10 GbE ports plus 6 x 10G SFP+. It’s ideal for use as a high-end network security appliance, such as VPN, UTM and NGFW(Next Generation Firewall).
